Process flows
- Your customers finalse an order in your shop and select Bancontact
- You send this CreateHostedCheckout to our platform
- You redirect your customers via the partialRedirectUrl. Depending on your customers’ device used, at least option c) and one more of these options are available on our Hosted Checkout Page:
- a: A redirection to the Payconiq by Bancontact app installed on a mobile device
If they have initiated the payment on a smart phone or tablet, your customers click on "Open the app" and complete the payment as suggested by their bank app - b: A QR code initiating the Payconiq by Bancontact app installed on a mobile device
If they have initiated the payment on a desktop PC or a tablet, your customers can use the "scan the QR code option” on the Hosted Checkout Page and complete the payment as suggested by their bank app - c: Their Bancontact card
If they have initiated the payment on a smartphone, your customers click on "Pay with your Bancontact card". We redirect them to a new screen where they can enter their card credentials.
If they have initiated the payment on a desktop PC or a tablet, they enter their card credentials on the current page. Our system autodetects the card to be co-badged for Bancontact and Maestro.
- a: A redirection to the Payconiq by Bancontact app installed on a mobile device
- We receive the transaction result
- We redirect your customer to your returnUrl
- You request the transaction result from our platform via GetPayment or receive the result via webhooks
- If the transaction was successful, you can deliver the goods / services
